Vorarlberg Economic Forum

Shaping the future: Impulses for business, politics and society

The Vorarlberg Economic Forum has established itself as the leading platform for decision-makers from business, politics and science in the Lake Constance region. Every year, it brings together thought leaders and opinion formers to discuss the future of the global and regional economy. The event offers participants the opportunity to gain new perspectives and prepare for the most pressing challenges of our time.

The Forum will focus on innovative approaches that will shape tomorrow’s economy – from digitalisation and sustainable transformation to social and economic megatrends. The Forum will not only provide a platform for forward-looking ideas, but also for the exchange and networking of around 600 guests from the entire DACH region and beyond.

A look back

Since its inception in 1984, the Forum has continued to develop. The Count’s Castle in Hohenems was the first venue, and since then the event has multiplied in size and scope. Numerous prominent speakers from politics, business and academia have contributed to the diversity of topics and discussions over the years, including Gerhard Schröder, Helmut Schmidt, Joschka Fischer, Sabine Herlitschka, Samuel Koch and Reinhold Würth. The historical significance of the Forum underlines its role as an indispensable platform for economic and social dialogue.
